Hyde Community Day is this weekend, August 3!🎨

Community Day is an annual tradition at The Hyde Collection! The Museum opens its door to the community free of charge, and everyone is invited to explore the current exhibitions, take a guided tour with a trained expert, create your own work of art in a variety of hands-on art activities, enjoy live music and more.🎶

The New York State Canal Corporation is offering free Erie Canal Bicentennial Commemorative posters celebrating the Erie Canal’s 200th Anniversary. Erie Canalway National Heritage Corridor

These beautiful 11”x 17” posters are available at the Saratoga Visitor Center starting August 1, 2025, and are a wonderful tribute to the Erie Canal System.

Our address is 297 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY. The Saratoga Visitor Center is open Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. Stop in am meet our friendly and knowledgeable staff!

The 7-mile round trip guided rail bike ride begins during the golden hour and takes you through the forest canopy. As the sun dips below the horizon, you’ll arrive at a lantern-lit grove-where the twilight magic begins. Here is an interesting fact about the Saratoga Visitor Center. It was never a train station BUT it was a trolley station carrying people to and from Ballston Spa, Schenectady and Albany. Stop by Tuesday-Saturday, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

In celebration of July 4th, the Saratoga Visitor Center will be closing at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 3rd,2025. The Saratoga Visitor Center will be closed Friday, July 4, 2025.

We will reopen Saturday, July 5, 2025, with regular hours-9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Our Grand, Gilded and Glorious : A Saratoga Stroll will be offered on July 3rd and July 5th. We hope to see you there!😁

If you miss the opportunity, our Grand, Gilded and Glorious : A Saratoga Stroll will be offered Tuesday-Saturday until October 18, 2025.

The Visitor Center is closed today but will be open our regular hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday June 20th. Stop in and say hello!
