Travel Alert for Europe Travelers ✈️

The EU’s new Entry/Exit System (EES) is currently causing major delays at airports across France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, and other Schengen countries. Travelers are reporting long immigration lines, technical issues, and wait times of up to 3 hours.

If you are traveling to or through Europe soon:
• Arrive at the airport at least 3–4 hours early
• Download the official EU Entry/Exit app if available for your destination
• Bring water, snacks, chargers, and patience
• Review your travel insurance coverage carefully, as most policies do not cover missed flights caused by border control delays

First-time non-EU travelers are now required to complete facial scans and fingerprint registration, which is contributing to the congestion.
