There’s something so special about incorporating artful shapes into a wedding invitation suite ✨ Unique silhouettes and unexpected details add so much character and personality while still feeling timeless and refined. I love finding ways to elevate classic invitation designs with thoughtful, sculptural elements that make every piece feel truly bespoke.

One of my favorite details from this imagined wedding? Ribbon “place cards” delicately wrapped around each guest’s wine glass to guide them to their seat at the table — equal parts elegant, functional, and unforgettable.

I’ve been creating so many ribbon designs lately, and it has been such a joy bringing these ideas to life from my home studio. The layered textures, movement, and soft romantic feel add such a beautiful dimension to a wedding day.

Hi IG friends! 👋 It’s time for this calligrapher to post more of my calligraphy! Every month is wedding season in my little studio, so I wanted to promote my calligraphy addressing services. A hand-calligraphed envelope is a beautiful and personal touch for your wedding invitations and I’m so excited to offer it not just for my wedding invitation design clients, but for all of my stationery designer friends and their clients!

An unexpected detail that completely transformed this suite… ✨

Before this design, I had never seen gold foil pressed onto black translucent paper—but the result was striking, refined, and beautifully original. Paired with additional gold foil and soft shades of white, it became an elevated, slightly edgy take on the classic black-and-white invitation.

Lately, I’ve been drawn to incorporating different colored cards within a suite for added depth and artistry. I’m currently working on another design in this vein and can’t wait to share—message me if you’re envisioning something creative and custom for your wedding like this.
