Happy ! 🍩 Southern Maid Donuts have been a Shreveport-Bossier favorite since 1941, and in 1954, Elvis once sang his heart out for a box of Southern Maid Donuts (and it was the only commercial he ever did).

He was a regular at the Hearne Avenue shop while performing with the Louisiana Hayride in the early stages of his musical career. Just one bite, and you’ll understand why The King couldn’t stay away...

The Sunflower Festival is happening next Saturday, June 14 in Gilliam, LA! 🌻🚗

Take a scenic drive along the Boom or Bust Byway (Hwy 3049) from Shreveport-Bossier to Gilliam, Louisiana, and you'll see miles of sunflowers in peak bloom!

Once you arrive in Gilliam, head to Main Street Restaurant, (12807 Main Street), is the Sunflower Trail & festival. Enjoy local art, live music, food vendors, kids' crafts, and more!
