We had a wonderful vacation, but I don’t want to share only the highlight reel.

Our trip home included three flight delays, an overnight in the MSP (thank you Delta of a hotel to sleep for a few hours) and arriving home a day later than planned. Even as a travel advisor, I don’t have magic powers!

Just a small hiccup in an otherwise amazing vacation. A little patience and kindness go a long way when travel doesn’t go as planned.

Day 6 & 7 – Cruise Recap

Day 6:
A relaxing sea day was just what we needed. We attended the Captain’s Corner, spent time playing games around the ship, enjoyed a performance of We Will Rock You, and even managed to leave the casino $15 ahead—a rare cruise victory!

Day 7:
Our final day was mostly spent at sea before an evening stop in beautiful Victoria. We watched soccer by the pool, soaked up the last day of cruise life, and wrapped up the trip with a Bites & Sights Tour through the city.

Day 5: Juneau, Alaska

It was a long but amazing day! We started the morning cruising through Endicott Arm and taking in the views of Dawes Glacier. In the afternoon, we headed to Juneau for an unforgettable helicopter ride to Hubbard Glacier, where we got to experience dog sledding on the glacier.

To top it all off, we sampled some local favorites at Alaskan Brewing Company and enjoyed delicious crab from Tracy’s King Crab Shack. Alaska continues to impress us at every turn! ❄️🐕🦀🍻

Day 4: Skagway, AK

Hiked to Reid Falls, took in the beautiful scenery on the White Pass Train, grabbed a treat from Doughboy, and explored all the local breweries. A perfect mix of adventure, views, and fun!

Day 3: Sitka, Alaska 🇺🇸

Fun fact: Sitka was once the Russian capital of North America! Today was filled with incredible Alaska wildlife and scenery. We enjoyed an amazing whale watching tour with Sitka Safari and Captain Mike, savored fresh fish and chips, and watched countless bald eagles soaring over town. Another unforgettable day in Alaska! 🐋🦅
