I still believe in mom and dad trips here and there, that time matters too but when it comes to the big trips, the ones weā€™ll look back on and wish for that time again, I want them there for it.

Watching them see something for the first time, the excitement before getting on a ride, playing in the sand, making snowmen in the snow, getting that excited every single time theyā€™re about to board a plane, actually being there for it, thatā€™s the whole point.

Thatā€™s why I plan trips the way I do, both for my own family and for every family I work with, so all of us get to actually be present for these moments šŸ¤Ž

A deal on the price doesnā€™t fix a trip where the days werenā€™t planned around your kidsā€™ ages,

A lot of resorts label themselves family friendly and call it a day, but the ones that actually deliver have specific things in place.

A real kids club with age-appropriate activities. Connecting rooms or suites that are actually available when you need them, with cribs or pack n plays genuinely available on request.

A pool setup that works for different ages.
And a dining scene with options beyond chicken tenders.

I check for all of this before I ever recommend a resort to a client, since the marketing photos rarely show you whatā€™s actually going on there.
