If you have fished with me and my mate was my nephew, you probably heard his story. If you haven’t heard it, Colten is going to college on a bass fishing scholarship and then is representing USA fishing over in South Africa. He goes over there December 5th. As the sun sets on yet another season I want to thank everyone who spent not only their time with me, but their hard earned money. THANK YOU! This was my best year to date. All made possible by all of you. I hope to see all my new friends again next year.

The best way to measure how old a fish is is by counting the number of rings formed on a chunk of calcium living in its inner ear. This lake trout, named Mary Catherine, had 62 rings.
