Meet Benji! 💥

Another new face is joining the Helfrich McKenzie Rafting crew! Meet Benji, who has joined us for the remainder of the 2026 guide season 🤙

Born and raised along the McKenzie River, Benji’s local knowledge and connection to the river make him a fantastic addition to our guide staff. And as an incoming University of Oregon freshman, he’s bringing plenty of energy and excitement along for the ride! 🦆🌟

We’re lucky to have Benji on the crew and can’t wait for you to meet him. If you’re joining us on the river this season, be sure to say hi and give Benji a warm welcome to the Helfrich family!

Paradise is for the whole family! ☀️

One of the questions we get all the time: “Is the Paradise section too exciting for little kids?”

The answer? Absolutely not! Paradise is one of our favorite sections for families and beginners. We welcome kids as young as 4 years old, and it offers a little more excitement while still being approachable for first-time rafters.

So if your crew has little ones but you’re looking for more than a mellow float, Paradise might be just the right fit 🛶✨

There’s something about being on the Upper McKenzie with your crew 💥🌲💦

Six paddles up, six big smiles, and a whole lot of river ahead. You have to get out here and experience it for yourself!

Good people, cold water, continuous rapids, and memories that stick with you long after you’re off the river.

Back-to-school season may be here, but summer isn’t over on the river! ☀️

We’re still running raft trips through September, and there’s plenty of time to squeeze in one more adventure before school, sports, homework, and the fall routine take over.

Grab your favorite people, leave the back-to-school stress for another day, and come spend a few hours on the McKenzie with us 💙
