After not having any cubs last year, it was great to see Grizzly 610 emerge this spring with two tiny cubs. Turning 20 years old this winter, 610 now carries on her mom’s tradition of being the long-lived matriarch of the Tetons. These two cubs bring 610’s total number of offspring to 12. Thankfully after being struck by a vehicle and nearly dying in the fall of 2023, she appears to be perfectly healthy. And hopefully these cubs will live long lives just like her. Happy Friday!

If you can’t Foster, please share.

We are desperate for fosters to help us save these poor neglected babies. I am almost paralyzed by the number of request for help we get that we have no way to help without fosters and donors.

If you’ve ever thought about fostering, now is the time. If you have questions, fill out the Foster application and I will reach out to you and answer any questions. We provide the Vet care, the food and leashes and collars. Flea, tick and heartworm preventative. We need fosters to provide the love and patience.

This six-year-old dachshund fella has an old back injury that makes him unsteady when he walks. One leg is stronger than the other and he can get along, but he’s not fast. He needs a foster home to heal physically and emotionally after being repeatedly used for breeding in his condition which I’m sure has been a painful experience. Imagine having a broken hip for years that didn’t heal right because it was never treated, but still be forced to live in wire cages and only interact with a human when they grab you out of your cage by the scruff and throw you into a breeding cage. I’m told he is super skittish to the touch and he pees when he’s scared . I wonder why.

Ps. Belly bands are a lifesaver with a male submissive pee-er.

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

At Adelman Vacations, we are grateful for their courage, dedication, and the freedoms they helped protect. As we gather with loved ones and enjoy the start of summer travel season, we reflect on the meaning of this day and the sacrifices that continue to inspire us all.
