❄️Heading to Mount Rainier? A little winter travel heads up!

Planning a trip to Paradise? Starting today, October 29, nightly gate closures are in effect on the road between Longmire and Paradise ✨

🚗 Here’s what visitors need to know:

🕘 9 AM | Gate opens

⬆️ 3 PM | Uphill gate closes

⬇️ 4 PM | Downhill gate closes

Our tip? Plan to leave Paradise by 3:30 PM to give yourself plenty of time to make your way down the mountain.

🌨️ Mountain weather has a mind of its own! Road openings and closures may change due to weather or staffing, so always check current conditions before heading out
