Welcome to the GWA family, N84063!!!

We’re excited to introduce the newest addition to our lineup: a 1969 Cessna 172K! Don owned 063 from 1992 until now and took great care of her, and we’re excited to continue that legacy.

Our mechanics are giving her a thorough look-over and checking all the systems to make sure she’s ready for flight training. She'll be ready soon!

Did you know we have a thriving local EAA chapter right here in Traverse City? This Thursday at 6:30 we are gathering at the Historic Acme Skyport for our monthly meeting complete with a burger and fries cookout. EAA 234 got its start in Acme, so we are taking it Back to our Roots this month! Come check out the Skyport as well as learn a bit about Weight Shift Control aircraft.

It's been 50 years since retired United captain Karen Nathan first soloed!
To celebrate the milestone, she took to the skies in N1304U and greased 5 landings - one for each decade since that unforgettable first solo!!
