🌺 What if your January looked a little more like THIS?

While much of the country is dealing with cold weather, gray skies and winter coats, you could be sailing toward Hawaii aboard Holland America Line’s beautiful Koningsdam.

I have group space available on a wonderful 17-day Circle Hawaii cruise departing January 9, 2027, round-trip from San Diego.

And I really love the way this itinerary is put together.

You’ll have several relaxing days at sea as you cross the Pacific, followed by five beautiful Hawaiian ports:

🏔️ Thinking about Alaska in 2027? Now is the time to start planning.

One of my favorite Alaska itineraries sails September 12, 2027 aboard Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam, traveling southbound from Whittier to Vancouver.

And this one is all about Alaska.

You’ll experience Hubbard Glacier AND Glacier Bay, along with Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan and the beautiful Inside Passage. September is also one of my favorite times to cruise Alaska. The summer crowds begin to thin, the scenery is gorgeous, and there’s something about that crisp fall feeling in the air that I absolutely love.

There are some very good reasons to get your 2027 Alaska cruise deposited now.

Cruise pricing is generally better when there is more inventory to choose from. You’ll have a better selection of cabins. Have you ever dreamed of seeing Ha Long Bay in person?

Next August, I will. ❤️

As part of my Vietnam, Cambodia & Mekong River journey, we’ll travel from Hanoi to spectacular Ha Long Bay, one of the places I’m most excited to finally experience.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ha Long Bay is famous for the thousands of limestone islands that rise dramatically from the water. We’ll actually cruise through the bay, exploring its caves, islands and incredible scenery before spending the night in Ha Long Bay.

I’ve seen photographs of this place for years, but I can only imagine what it will be like to actually be there, surrounded by those towering limestone formations.

And that's what I love about this Southeast Asia itinerary. Ha Long Bay isn't the entire vacation. It's Day 3.

We still have Angkor Wat, Cambodia, seven nights cruising the Mekong aboard the Avalon Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok and so much more ahead of us.

I think we've officially reached the "don't wait much longer" point on this one. 🌷

I checked availability for my April 17, 2027 Avalon Tulip Time cruise through Holland & Belgium, and there are now only 22 cabins remaining on the entire sailing.

The good news is that my group pricing is already locked in. My rates are lower than Avalon's current pricing, the promotional savings have already been applied, AND I'm including prepaid gratuities for those booking with my group.

But here's the part I can't lock in...

The cabins themselves.

Once a stateroom category sells out, it's gone. The Royal Suites are already sold out, and we're now down to just 22 cabins across the ship.

This is Holland and Belgium in the spring, Amsterdam, Antwerp, Ghent, Rotterdam, beautiful little towns along the way, and Keukenhof Gardens during one of the few weeks each year when millions of spring flowers are in bloom.

If you've been looking at this trip and thinking, "I really want to do that," I wouldn't leave it sitting on the someday list much longer.

I’ve always believed flowers are good for the soul. 🌷

Maybe that comes from spending so many years surrounded by them in my flower shop, but there’s something about flowers that simply makes me happy. They brighten a room, lift your spirits, and sometimes make you stop for a moment and appreciate just how beautiful the world can be.

Now imagine seeing millions of tulips in bloom in Holland.

That’s one of the things I’m looking forward to most about my Tulip Time river cruise through Holland & Belgium on April 17, 2027. Keukenhof Gardens has been on my bucket list for years, and I can hardly believe I’m finally going to experience it.

And apparently, I’m not the only one ready for some flowers! 😊

This cruise is really beginning to fill. When I checked availability, there were only TWO Deluxe Staterooms remaining. Other categories are still available, but cabins throughout the ship are disappearing.

Go somewhere you’ve never been before.

I think there’s something really special about looking at a map and realizing that the names on it are about to become places you’ve actually experienced.

Ha Long Bay. Angkor Wat. The Mekong River. Ho Chi Minh City. Bangkok.

Right now, they may simply be places you’ve seen in photographs, read about in books or watched on television. But what if one day you could say, “I’ve been there.”

As I get older, I find myself wanting to see more of the world, not less of it. I want to experience places that are completely different from home. I want to try the food, learn some of the history, meet the people and see those places I’ve wondered about for years with my own eyes.

That’s one of the reasons I’m so excited about traveling through Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand in August 2027. This will be new territory for me too, and I think that makes the adventure even more exciting.

Maybe Southeast Asia is on your list. Maybe it's somewhere else entirely.

But if there's a place you've always thought, “Someday I'd love to go there,” maybe it's time to start thinking about making someday a little more specific.

There is still so much of this world waiting for us. ❤️
