Hydroponic Growing. I will be telling the story of the past 8 year’s experience with hydroponic growing and how it’s the farming of the future. We will have a small demo inside the organic farm to showcase this wonderful technology. (Dave is selling his shares in Green Mountain Harvest, so we won’t be going inside that business but have a video that showcases what it looks like inside.) Healing Garden. You too can create your own beautiful and productive veggie, herb and flower garden. Check out Amy’s healing garden for inspiration. See which medicinal and culinary herbs are growing among the veggies and flowers and what they can do for you. Discover what else might also be growing in your yard that you can use to heal. Visit our Horses. You’ll also have an opportunity to feed Amy’s horses, Koko and Amigo, some carrots and learn a little about horses. Each tour is customized to meet the needs and interests of the group that shows up, which means each tour/workshop will be slightly different. While the tours are designed for teens and adults, we are kid friendly. We create activities that cater to your child's age. (Amy ran a kid's farm camp for 3 summers too.)

This was an engaging discussion with Robert.

Here's how he described our conversation:

"In this engaging interview, Amy Todisco discusses her journey as an Ordinary Visionary, sharing insights from her lifelong dedication to living and promoting an eco-friendly, non-toxic lifestyle. Amy’s passion for nature, despite growing up in urban New York City, sparked her interest in holistic living and environmental activism.

Through personal experiences, such as discovering the harmful chemicals in everyday household products, Amy made it her mission to educate others on reducing toxic exposure.

The interview delves into Amy’s hands-on activism, including her work in organizing Earth Day events and advocating for stricter pesticide regulations in her community. She also shares practical, impactful tips for living a healthier, greener lifestyle, such as growing your own food, choosing organic products, and eliminating synthetic chemicals in household items.

Amy's current work focuses on running an organic farm in Vermont with her fiancé, launching a podcast on green living, and offering courses that provide step-by-step guidance on adopting a holistic lifestyle.

She emphasizes that small, manageable changes, such as switching to non-toxic laundry detergents or growing vegetables at home, can make a significant difference in health and well-being.

Listeners will gain valuable insights into how living a more eco-friendly, toxin-free life can improve personal health and contribute to a more sustainable world.

From "Zen Honeycutt, Moms Across America:

“Across the country, millions of families struggle daily with behavioral, physical, and mental health issues with their children and family members. Over 30% of young couples are bereft because they cannot conceive. One out of two men and one out of two women are expected to get cancer. One in three Americans have fatty liver disorders. I could list the deeply disturbing statistics for days…but you don’t have to look any further, really, than your family members. Every family in America is impacted today by cancer, heart disease, autism, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, IBS, Crohn’s disease, autoimmune disorders, diabetes, obesity, or reproductive and mental health issues. We are in a health crisis. What do all these conditions have in common?

They can all be caused and exacerbated by agrochemicals in the conventional food supply."
