Fall is upon us! We had a wonderful family from Taiwan stay with us recently. They shared some amazing family photos from their stay at our cozy cabin by our lake. Love the beautiful colors. This followed up by our 3rd amazing night of northern lights this fall. Amazing night skies from a hot tub! October is pretty booked up, some limited availability in November to get away and enjoy some amazing peace and quiet!

Our summer has been amazing! We offer 2 vacation rentals which have been almost fully booked June and July. Just a few days remain for anyone looking for a stay on either property.

We’ve started to offer our farm fresh/free range chicken eggs to our guests along with honey and birch syrup right from our property. They love it! Tattletale honey is simply the best in Alaska.

Birch syrup has an amazing flavor, is great on pancakes and even over ice cream! It’s quite a process to make as the sap can only be collected for about 2-3 weeks in the spring and it takes over 100 gallons of birch sap to make 1 gallon of syrup. The Anderson kids were dedicated this year! If your local and would like some goodies to purchase, let us know. For those out of state, we can certainly ship you syrup and honey. Ahhh, summer time is here! Enjoy a few pictures taken at 11pm from our lakeside guesthouse in Wasilla. The sunsets have been amazing, the weather has been perfect, and the wildlife has been abundant! Swans, sandhill cranes, Canadian Geese, Moose and all types of ducks have been frequent visitors. Our midnight sun is just about here! Mountain views from the hot tub have been breathtaking.
