Crape Myrtle Guy

Crape Myrtle Guy All plants $10 each I grow over 30 varieties of crape myrtle trees including miniatures, dwarfs, and standard trees. These are the hardy hibiscus.

I grow them in quart containers and they are about a 1-2 feet tall now depending on the variety. Crapes are very drought tolerant and have a bloom that last over 100 days through the summer heat. Crapes bloom in shades of red, white, pink, and purple. I'm sure I'll have a crape myrtle to fit your needs. I also have about 100 hardy Texas Star Hibiscus. You don't have to bring them in during the win

ter. Plant them in pots or in the ground. They bloom red or white blooms all summer long. I included a pic of mine I have growing in a pot. These are ready to be planted or put in bigger pots. They will mature to about 6 feet every year. Order online or stop by to pick up. I grow these from home so please call, text, or reply before coming out. Call, text, or reply: (972) 935-2968

🍂 What’s Going On With Your Crape Myrtles – October Edition! 🍂

As the weather cools down, your crape myrtles are starting to slow their growth and prepare for dormancy. You may notice the leaves changing colors or dropping, and that’s completely normal this time of year.

✨ Here’s what to do this month:
🌳 Keep watering during dry spells, especially if we haven’t had rain.
🍁 Let the leaves fall naturally; they actually help insulate the roots.
✂️ Hold off on pruning until late winter. Pruning too early can expose your tree to cold damage.
🌿 You can apply a layer of mulch around the base to help protect roots through winter.

Your trees are just taking a well-deserved rest before putting on another show next spring. 🌸
