Some of the best days are the ones you never planned. After missing our flight to Zagreb, the universe handed us an unexpected 24 hours in Madrid—and it was pure magic. We spent the day exploring the Royal Palace of Madrid (the largest functioning palace in Europe!), eating our way through the Mercado, and wrapping it up with a fantastic dinner. To top it all off, it was the exact day Spain won the World Cup! Proof that sometimes, a travel detour leads to the most unforgettable memories. 🇪🇸✨

🇵🇹 Let’s talk about LISBON! 💛

This is one of the stops I’m most excited about on our Portugal trip in October 2027 because Lisbon just looks FUN.

Think colorful tiled buildings, little yellow trams climbing the hills, gorgeous views over the water, cute cafés, wine, incredible food and yes… plenty of pastéis de nata. 😂🥐

We’ll have three nights in Lisbon, so we actually get time to enjoy the city instead of racing through it.

We’ll see some of the big Lisbon highlights like Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, the Monument to the Discoveries and those beautiful neighborhoods Lisbon is famous for.

But I’m just as excited about the little moments…

🍷 Sitting outside with a glass of wine
🥐 Eating entirely too many custard tarts
🚋 Seeing those famous yellow trams
🛍️ Wandering, shopping and finding cute little places
🎶 Maybe catching some traditional Fado music
🌅 And hopefully enjoying a few beautiful Portuguese sunsets

And for anyone who wants even MORE, there’s also an optional trip to Sintra and the Portuguese Riviera.

This is my favorite kind of trip — we have the important stuff planned for us, but there’s still time to wander off, grab a drink, shop, eat something amazing and just enjoy being in Portugal.

And the best part? You don’t have to figure it all out by yourself. You just show up and enjoy the adventure with us. ❤️

There are so many amazing pictures from our 10 days in Croatia but the ones with our whole group make me the happiest. We learned so much about the history and culture of Croatia in addition to fun facts about each other! Among our group these women have
🧗Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro
🏃‍♀️Ran marathons
💃 Took belly dancing lessons
🎤 trained to be a professional singer/actress
✈️ jumped out of a plane
🤿 went scuba diving in Hawaii
🛠️ rebuilt homes in Guatemala
📚read 68 books this year already
🐷grew up on a farm
🍔Never had McDonald’s!!

We were a diverse group between 19 and 71 years old and for one week we operated as “Legendary Ladies” the name given to us by our amazing tour guide Nikola! Every morning he greeted us with “my dear ladies” and a plan for the day! We are headed home with full hearts, light wallets and over 800 shared photos.

Dubrovnik shined for us with incredible weather, charming streets, panoramic views, and lots of wine!

We walked the city walls, took a boat to the charming town of Cavtat (look it up 👔)where we swam in the Adriatic, had a spectacular sunset at a cliffside restaurant on St Jacobs Beach and partied like rockstars at a local nightclub 🪩

Croatia we will be back but next time on a yacht 🛥️. Who wants to come?!!

From the charm of Zadar to the vibrant streets of Split, today we made our way down the breathtaking Dalmatian Coast, soaking in every beautiful moment. 🌊🇭🇷

One of the highlights was experiencing the incredible Sea Organ, where the waves of the Adriatic Sea create a beautiful, ever-changing melody—Mother Nature’s own masterpiece. We wandered, admired the stunning coastline, and of course, did our best to eat our weight in gelato and truffles. 🍨🍫

The beauty of this coast is something you simply have to experience. Every turn offers another unforgettable memory, a reminder of how incredible this world truly is.
