Okay, some of these might be controversial. 👀🎃

But Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is only a few hours long, and I don’t want to spend those hours doing things I could do another time — or waiting in lines that will be MUCH shorter later.

A few things I skip:

🎃 Long character lines at the beginning of the party
🎢 Rides with waits over 30 minutes
🍔 Regular quick-service meals when there are party-exclusive treats to try
🍬 Trick-or-treating right when the party starts
🛍️ Fighting the crowds at the Emporium for party merch

The trick-or-treat trails tend to get much easier later in the night, and Star Traders is one of my favorite places to check for party merchandise without dealing with the Emporium crowds.

When you only have one party night, a little strategy can make a BIG difference!

Ranking Disney World Deluxe Resorts… but they get WORSE as the video goes on 👀🏰

And yes, we’re prepared to defend our choices. 😂

🥇 Grand Floridian takes our top spot every time. The location, the atmosphere, the dining, the transportation options—it’s the Deluxe resort that feels the most “Disney vacation” to us.

And at the bottom? Animal Kingdom Lodge. 🫣

Is it beautiful? Absolutely.
Are the animals incredible? YES.
Do we think everyone should experience it at least once? Definitely.

But when we’re choosing where to actually stay for a Walt Disney World vacation, the location and transportation keep it at the bottom of our Deluxe list.
