Dubrovnik, Croatia 🇭🇷 is currently holding a World Aquatics Water Polo 🤽🏼competition so the city is busy! Azamara had to adjust the tender boat ⚓️procedures this morning to accommodate that competition but we got on and off our tender boats with a {limited} view 👀of the event! We walked (12,000 steps) through the distinctive Old Town this morning and found a wonderful place for brunch 🍴and 🥂cocktails. We are back on the ship preparing for our evening excursion- a sunset 🌅champagne cruise!

🇭🇷Today’s port of call was the gorgeous island of Hvar! 💙We started the day with a fun kayaking adventure, then explored the charming port and enjoyed a delicious local lunch. 🛶🍴Of course, we had to finish the day with coffee and dessert at a little local bakery. ☕🥐

A perfect Croatian day filled with adventure, great food, and beautiful memories! ❤️

Zadar is known for its historic old town. The Azamara Onward docks right next to Old Town for easy access to exploring on your own! We did an excursion and began by touring the old town and learning about the cities rich history and seeing the stunning architecture. Then we took a very scenic speedboat ride to Ugljan island and had some free time to swim in the Adriatic Sea. We concluded our day with a wonderful meal at Hotel Kali. They prepared locally sourced dishes and paired them with fine Croatian wine! Then another boat ride back and we explored the city for a bit before returning to the ship! Another great day!

Today was a great first full day! We went on a Cave & Castle excursion, tasted some traditional Slovenian desserts, explored the town square & fit in some pool time! Getting ready for dinner #2- it’ll be hard to top last night’s seafood!

Flew overnight from DFW to Venice. Boarded our ship, and did the mandatory muster drill on then had some pool time and an evening massage! That was the best decision ever! Slept so good and feel ready to take on our cave excursion in Koper, Slovenia today!

🐋 Happy International Whale Shark Day! 🦈
