💙 Clearly Tahoe Takeover: Supporting Keep Tahoe Blue

On September 15th, we’re teaming up with Keep Tahoe Blue for a special Clearly Tahoe Explorer Takeover to get a closer look at what makes this lake so special, and what we can do to protect it.

During your boat charter and clear kayak tour, you’ll learn about:
🌊 The hidden challenges facing Tahoe, from runoff and litter to wildfire impacts and invasive species
🌾 How wetlands, meadows, streams, and marshes help keep the lake healthy
🔎 How to spot and report invasive species while you’re out exploring
📊 How citizen science and everyday observations help us better understand Tahoe’s health

It’s hard to believe Clearly Tahoe has been sharing the beauty of Lake Tahoe with all of you for 10 incredible years. To celebrate this milestone and say thank you to our amazing guests, we’re excited to launch the Clearly Tahoe 10th Anniversary Giveaway! 💙

One lucky winner will receive gift cards to build their own Lake Tahoe dream getaway, including a 4-night stay at The Landing Lake Tahoe Resort & Spa with a $150 dining credit at their on-site restaurant, Lakeside Dining, and gift cards from some of our favorite local businesses for dining, activities, and more. Around here, we’re big believers that adventures are better when your best friend gets to come too. 🐶💙

Our team is full of animal lovers, so creating ways for you to include your pup in your Lake Tahoe adventures is something that’s important to us.

Explore Tahoe by bike and add one of our dog bike carts so your four-legged copilot can enjoy the ride right alongside you. We offer two cart sizes for dogs up to 50 lbs and up to 100 lbs.

When you’re ready to hit the water, our dog-friendly Take & Go kayak and SUP rentals let you paddle and explore the shoreline together at your own pace.

While our pet-friendly guided tour is no longer available, we’re excited to offer even more flexible ways to experience Tahoe with your pups! Both bike rentals and take and go kayak and SUP rentals are available from our Zephyr Cove Adventure Shop.

Meet the Clearly Explorer Sunset Excursion!
It starts with a scenic cruise across the lake. Then you’ll launch straight from the boat into a guided clear kayak tour as the sun starts to dip behind the mountains. After your paddle, climb back aboard, grab a drink or snack, and watch the sky put on a show.

🎨 We’re looking for a talented illustrator or designer to become Clearly Tahoe’s long-term artistic partner.

We’re creating a cohesive visual identity for our tours and experiences, and we’re looking for one artist to help bring it to life!

The selected artist will create artwork for 11 initial tour concepts, with ongoing paid projects as we continue to grow. We offer transparent flat-rate pricing, guaranteed annual rate increases, and a clear creative process from start to finish.

If you love creating bold, story-driven artwork inspired by Lake Tahoe’s wildlife, geology, history, and Washoe culture, we’d love to hear from you.
