Starting from July 1, 2026, travelers arriving at Vietnam's major international airports will be required to complete a Pre-Arrival Declaration within 72 hours before entering the country. The system is designed to speed up immigration procedures and reduce waiting times upon arrival.

• Foreign passport holders
• Overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam with a visa
❌ Exemptions
• Vietnamese citizens
• Transit passengers who do not pass through immigration checkpoints.

Submit your information online at: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/
The declaration can be completed up to 72 hours before arrival.
⚡ Why do it before you fly?
Completing the declaration online in advance helps immigration authorities process your information before arrival, reducing queues and saving valuable time at the airport—especially during peak travel periods.

• PRAGUE → HANOI: 20:55 → 16:20 (+1 day)

VIETNAM DESTINATION UPDATE

PRE-ARRIVAL IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENT FOR FOREIGN VISITORS

From April 15, 2026, a mandatory pre-arrival declaration (digital arrival card) required for all foreign visitors before entering Vietnam, through Tan Son Nhat Airport (SGN) in Ho Chi Minh City. This new system helps optimize passenger flow, giving visitors more convenience than manual checks on arrival process.

👉Passengers are required to complete the online declaration form before their flight to Vietnam at the official address

👉After submission, travelers will receive a QR Code to present at the immigration counter upon arrival.

This measure is currently not in place at other airports, including Nội Bài International Airport in Hanoi, though it may expand later.

DESTINATION NEWS!

HANOI- QUANG NINH (HA LONG) high-speed railway, cutting travel time to 23 minutes!

On April 12, 2026, the project high-speed railway linking Hanoi and Ha Long was officially launched by by VinSpeed, with the project expected to slash travel time between the two localities by five to seven times, to just around 23 minutes.

The express trains are designed to reach speeds of up to 350 km/h. Scheduled for completion by the end of 2028, the railway will span 120.2km, passing through four localities of Hà Nội, Bắc Ninh, Hải Phòng and Quảng Ninh.

Thank to this new high-speed railway, Ha Long Bay excursion from Hanoi is getting much more convenient in the near future!
