Starting from July 1, 2026, travelers arriving at Vietnam's major international airports will be required to complete a Pre-Arrival Declaration within 72 hours before entering the country. The system is designed to speed up immigration procedures and reduce waiting times upon arrival.
โ
Who needs to complete it?
โข Foreign passport holders
โข Overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam with a visa
โ Exemptions
โข Vietnamese citizens
โข Transit passengers who do not pass through immigration checkpoints.
๐ฅ๏ธ How to complete the declaration
Submit your information online at: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/
The declaration can be completed up to 72 hours before arrival.
โก Why do it before you fly?
Completing the declaration online in advance helps immigration authorities process your information before arrival, reducing queues and saving valuable time at the airportโespecially during peak travel periods.
๐ We strongly recommend completing the declaration before departure rather than waiting until arrival.
