A few notes for a safe and enjoyable Fansipan trip.
📌 Buying Fansipan tickets: Buying tickets usually takes a long time because you have to queue for a long time, so you should go early to queue or you can book in advance with your tour operator (Note: Tickets are only valid on the day of purchase, so don't buy tickets in advance)
📌 The ticket price applies to both directions, so please keep your ticket carefully for your return journey.
📌 Fansipan weather: Fansipan is 3143m high, with an average temperature this season from 10-20"C. When you go up, it will be colder than down in the town, so bring a windbreaker or light jacket when the weather is still sunny below, and if you go on a foggy day with rain, you should equip yourself with warm clothes, hats, scarves, and raincoats, especially pay attention to families with children under 3 years old, consider taking your children along when the weather is not good.
📌 Altitude and temperature difference: The altitude difference between the beginning and the end is 1410m, but it only takes about 15", so you may experience ear congestion and shock due to not having enough time to adapt.
