🦍 Earlier, in November 2025, a group of Polish travelers experienced an early morning excursion at Cat Tien National Park to observe the Black-shanked Douc Langur — one of Vietnam’s rare primate species. KOREAN TOURISTS CAN NOW USE CROSS-BORDER QR PAYMENTS IN VIETNAM

South Korean travelers to Vietnam can now enjoy seamless payments using cross-border QR codes, following the official launch of a new bilateral payment service in Hanoi on April 23.

The initiative, led by National Payment Services of Vietnam (NAPAS) in partnership with Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam, Hana Bank, and GLN International, allows South Korean visitors to make payments at hundreds of thousands of merchants across Vietnam by simply scanning VietQRGlobal codes through their existing banking or e-wallet apps.

Transactions are processed instantly and settled directly in South Korean won and Vietnamese d**g, eliminating the need for cash exchange and making everyday spending more convenient for tourists.

With South Korea already one of Vietnam’s largest inbound markets, this new system is expected to significantly enhance travel experiences while supporting the shift toward cashless payments and deeper digital integration between the two countries.

The initiative also aligns with broader efforts by both governments to promote cashless economies and strengthen regional digital infrastructure, making travel more convenient for visitors on both sides.

BenThanh Tourist would like to inform you of a new pre-arrival declaration requirement for entry through Tan Son Nhat International Airport, effective from 15 April 2026, in accordance with the regulations of the Immigration Department of Vietnam.
🔎 Applicable to:
• Foreign passport holders
• Overseas Vietnamese entering Vietnam with a valid visa
🚫 Not applicable to:
• Vietnamese citizens
• Transit passengers
📢 What is required:
From 15 April 2026, passengers in the above categories are required to complete a pre-arrival personal information declaration and present the QR code to the Immigration Officer at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.
📱 How to complete the declaration:
• Access the official portal: https://prearrival.immigration.gov.vn/
✅ Purpose of implementation:
This procedure is introduced to facilitate faster and more efficient immigration clearance, while helping to reduce congestion at the airport.
👉 Recommendation:
Passengers are strongly advised to complete the declaration prior to boarding to ensure a smooth and seamless arrival process in Vietnam.
