🚨 SHOCK JOHANNESBURG POLL PUTS THE DA ON TOP AS ANC SUPPORT DROPS TO 18% AHEAD OF THE NOVEMBER ELECTIONS – COULD SOUTH AFRICA'S BIGGEST CITY BE HEADING FOR A MAJOR POLITICAL SHAKE-UP? 🇿🇦

A new opinion poll conducted by The Common Sense in partnership with the Social Research Foundation suggests the Democratic Alliance (DA) is leading voter support in Johannesburg with 42%, while the ANC is on 18%. The poll also places the MK Party at 13%, ActionSA at 10%, and the EFF at 8%.

The survey was conducted between 8 July and 31 July among more than 500 likely voters in Johannesburg. Researchers say the findings indicate that no single party is likely to secure an outright majority, making coalition negotiations a strong possibility after the municipal elections.

Political analysts have cautioned that opinion polls are only a snapshot of voter sentiment at a particular time and are not a prediction of the final election result. Actual outcomes will depend on voter turnout and how support shifts before election day.

If these poll numbers were reflected on election day, who do you think should govern Johannesburg?
