Our Story

Sunny skies, all year warm days and nights accompanied by fun filled beach activities, musical concerts, exciting night lifestyle and adrenaline filled activities are a sign that you have finally arrived at one of the Top 52 must visit destinations in 2018. This is one of the most recent accolade the city of Durban has received from Fodor Travel - a US Based Tourism Publication. Durban continues to attract both local and international visitors to the city and kept them entertained.

The city has proven time and time again that it is the destination for international sports and events. The city has played host to major international events and conferences including but not limited to NAM Summit, COP 17, BRICS, HICA, 13th International Aids Conference and has been awarded to host Tourism Indaba for the next 5 years. Indaba is one of the premier tourism platform that discuss the growth and economic development of our tourism industry. It is expected to generate an estimated R500 million in economic impact for the City and Province over the next five years. In 2016/17 Indaba attracted 18 500 visitors with an economic contribution of R 26,2 million
