Wade has a real passion when it comes to Cape buffalo hunting, and this is his third bull with me.
A couple of weeks before his arrival, I mentioned that I had a problem Buffalo that needed to be hunted. His reply was simple: “I guess I’ll be sighting in the .375 H&H.” 😎
We tracked down the big old bull, and Wade put a perfect frontal shot into him. The bull didn’t make it more than 30 yards before expiring.
As we approached, I instructed Wade to put in an insurance shot into the spine — a habit I have on every buffalo. It’s the dead ones that kill you! 🐃
Another fantastic Cape buffalo and another unforgettable hunt with a great friend.

Wade with a beautiful Copper Springbuck!
Not every Springbuck will have horns that hook back like this, but when they do, it’s certainly an attractive trait that adds to the character and appeal of this magnificent animal.
Another special trophy and another great memory made in the African bush! 🇿🇦

Free-range Kudu hunting at its absolute best!
We spotted this magnificent bull through the spotting scope at over 1,500 yards and knew without a doubt that we had to close the distance. The terrain had other ideas, though, a massive gorge that we hadn’t accounted for restricted our approach, and the closest we could get was 765 yards.
It didn’t matter. Wade was completely comfortable with the shot and the setup we had provided him with. The shot cracked through the valley, and just like that, another incredible Kudu became a memory that we’ll be talking about around the campfire for years to come.
Congratulations, my friend! What an incredible bull and an unforgettable hunt. 🇿🇦

Wade joins us for his third safari with Bridger Safaris.

While scouting for Kudu, we bumped into this giant of a Nyala bull. Wade had already successfully hunted four Nyala on his previous safaris, but the moment he spotted this magnificent bull, the decision was easy: why not add a fifth one to the wall?

And what better way to settle those first-morning nerves than with a Nyala hunt? 😎

It turned out to be a very good choice, and Wade walked away with another incredible trophy and an even better safari memory.

To all our followers we are back online, we had some issues with our page that have been rectified. We start another safari today with an exciting list, keep watching for updates.

Congratulations to our hunter on another outstanding achievement, securing another Tiny 10 species, the Oribi, which are found in limited coastal areas of the Eastern Cape and obtaining a tag is near impossible. Great work by our PH once again.

We would like to extend our congratulations to our client on a magnificent Blue Duiker, the world record is 2⅞ inches, this ram comes in at 2 ¼. It will undoubtedly feature in the record books. The results demonstrate the thorough scouting and preparation by our PH.
