Hot take: Kids actually make safari better.
Their excitement is contagious, their questions change your perspective, and they always spot the animal everyone else missed.

10 Pro-Tips for for travelling with little ones:
1. Pick the right lodge: Not all are kid-friendly; check the age policies first!
2. Snacks are your secret weapon: Pack lots of them, plus hats, sunscreen, and binoculars.
3. Give them a role: Make them the official spotter, photographer, or animal counter.
4. The Pool is a must: It’s the ultimate midday cure for safari fatigue.
5. Don’t over-schedule: One or two activities a day is plenty to keep them engaged.
6. Keep their hands busy: A small wildlife journal is perfect for downtime between sightings.
7. Density matters: Choose a park with high game density to keep distances between sightings short.
8. Empower the “mini-photographer”: Give them a disposable camera or an old phone to document their trip.
9. Add variety: Mix in bush walks or cultural visits to break the routine.
10. Quality over quantity: Don’t chase every 5:00 AM game drive. Tired kids = a tough day for everyone!

🇫🇷 We are delighted to read this review from our lovely french travellers: “We are a family of four (two adults and two children aged 10 and 14) and have just returned from an exceptional two-week trip to South Africa, from Cape Town to Johannesburg, via Durban and the private reserves of Kruger National Park.
Accustomed to organizing our trips ourselves, we discovered the true advantages of a travel agency: constant support, peace of mind, and a completely personalized experience. From the planning stages to the ex*****on of our stay, we felt a very personal touch; we even began to connect with the team—a real advantage compared to more impersonal competitors.

Our guides, Jean-Blaise and Robert, were outstanding. Beyond the safaris, they passionately shared with us the keys to understanding South African ethnic, political, and geographical history, something we hadn’t expected at such a level of depth.
Special mention goes to the gastronomic and historical tour of Cape Town, and to our last two days in Schindzela, which were absolutely unforgettable and among the most beautiful moments of our lives. Vanessa made all the difference thanks to her meticulous personalization of the program and numerous thoughtful touches. The services were impeccable, and the price was perfectly reasonable—even excellent—considering the quality, which exceeded our expectations. We wholeheartedly recommend them and are already planning another trip with Kamaroutes Travel, perhaps to Namibia in a few years.”

Most travellers never make it to this remote corner of Zimbabwe, and that’s exactly why we love it. Known as “The Place of Elephants,” Gonarezhou National Park offers a raw, untouched wilderness experience.

Why you will love it:
- Red sandstone of the Chilojo Cliffs
- Massive elephant herds roaming free
- Big 5 Territory: A sanctuary for lion, leopard, buffalo, and the rare black rhino.
- No crowds, just you and the wild
