My last two months in photos… and what a journey it’s been.

✔️ Just over 2 weeks in Mauritius
✔️ Almost a week in Zanzibar
✔️ Thousands of miles flown
✔️ Endless inspections, adventures & discoveries
I booked trips, explored destinations, inspected resorts, compared beaches, tested all-inclusive experiences and learned one very important thing…
You’ve got beaches… and then you’ve got beaches 🌴
Some islands are about:
✔️ Coral reefs
✔️ Mangroves
✔️ World class food and entertainment
✔️ Seagrass lagoons
✔️ Barefoot luxury
✔️ Private butlers
✔️ World-class golf
✔️ Indian Ocean magic
And Africa?
Africa is a feeling ❤️ I don’t like the “Africa” rugged vibe you say.. Zanzibar is like Mozambique.. YES but imagine this 💭
One minute you’re driving past gravel roads and local villages… the next you’re waking up in a luxury villa wondering how this level of paradise even exists there. All at at fraction of the price this kind of experience will cost on another island ~ for eg Seychelles or Mauritius.
Confused? So was I.
That’s why I went exploring - to understand it all properly so I can help YOU choose the right destination for the right experience ✈️
Mauritius taught me:
✔️ The best golfing spots
✔️ The difference between lagoons and reef beaches
✔️ Why luxury there feels so effortless
Zanzibar taught me:
✔️ Tides matter
✔️ Culture matters
✔️ Location matters
✔️ And yes… the only hotel in Zanzibar with its own golf course is Seacliff ⛳

Luxury there is shockingly cost effective.

A little Middle East travel update ✈️
People are still travelling. People are still booking. And thankfully, many flights and operations have gradually returned closer to normal again across parts of the Middle East 🌍
That said - airlines are still monitoring the situation closely and some schedules remain fluid depending on regional developments.
If your travel dates are completely fixed and non-flexible, I would still be cautious with Middle East routings for the moment - especially where tight connections are involved.
Flexible travellers are generally having a much smoother experience 🙂
