One of our most popular tour packages is our 7-day Garden Route & Addo tour, which includes 2 nights on a Private Game Reserve for a big 5 safari, following our 5-day Garden Route & Addo group tour from Cape Town.

After an adventurous 5 days with your Garden Route group you will be transferred to the lodge of your choice for your safari. Lodge options range from 3-5 star.
After your safari you will be transferred to Gqeberha for outbound flights or to continue your travels.

The Eastern Cape region of South Africa offers excellent game viewing opportunities. Our safari add-ons along this malaria-free region are ideal for guests on a tight schedule who would enjoy some additional time on safari after their group tour. We recommend adding at least 2 nights on safari, preferably 3 nights.

We have personally visited all the lodges we recommend and we look forward to sharing some of their magic with you!

Destination: Garden Route, South Africa

Sunset lagoon cruises, long beach walks and refreshing dips in the ocean are a few things that we love to do when visiting the Garden Route.

Some of the Earthstompers office team worked remotely from Sedgefield for a few days earlier this month, while taking the opportunity to explore the local area in more depth.

Spending time with our amazing accommodation and activity partners was a big highlight. Our business relationships are very important to us and at Earthstompers we make it a priority to know the wonderful people who host our guests week-after-week.

Together, we give our guests from all over the world an experience of South Africa that is warm, welcoming, comfortable personable and downright magical.

Being winter in South Africa, it might be chilly in the mornings and evenings, but we have some beautiful sunny days to explore! The lower temperatures makes for ideal adventure days and hikes.

Earthstompers team member, Fazlin, has been exploring Kruger National Park over the last few days on a scheduled group safari.

Fazlin is in charge of Earthstompers group tours, and manages all bookings and logistics for our weekly tour departures.

The majority of our guests, on group or private tours, choose to include a safari as part of their South Africa journey. Based on each guest's time, budget and specific interests, we tailor safari experiences across Southern Africa to suit their needs.

After 20 incredible years, we’ve taken the next exciting step in our journey, and we’re excited to share a new chapter in our story. It is no longer just Earthstompers Adventures, we’re offering so much more: to better reflect who we are and how we’ve grown, we’re officially introducing Earthstompers Travel as our mother brand, with two dedicated sub-brands underneath, designed to better serve the unique needs and interests of our travelers.

Our Story

Earthstompers Adventures has been conducting Garden Route & Addo Adventure Tours since 2006.

We offer group tours, departing every Monday & Friday from Cape Town. We also offer private tours, customized to the client's preferences. Tours offer a mix of nature, culture, and adventure.

Scheduled group tours include a canoeing and hiking trip in Wilderness National Park, a visit to Tsitsikamma National Park and exploring the Klein Karoo’s limestone caves & learning about the ostrich capital of the world. On our 5&6 Day group tours we also visit the African Penguins in Betty’s Bay, do a game drive in Addo Elephant National park & explore seaside towns and beaches including Hermanus & Sedgefield and a trip to the Southern-most point in Africa, Cape Agulhas. *View specific itineraries for exact inclusions.
