I had a wonderful day on the water on Sunday with this couple from Horseshoe Bay in South Australia.

They have been traveling around the country visiting the other 4 Horseshoe Bays - Southwest Rocks, Cape York, Fleurieu Peninsula, Magnetic Island and finally at Bowen, where they found out about our tours.

We had perfect conditions and saw whales, dolphins, sea eagles, stingrays
, turtles and lots of fish when snorkelling.

Its days like these that make it really hard to retire but I am working on it.

P.S. For those of you who might be interested, I am putting the business up for sale soon.

"She said Yes" - Amazing day yesterday with the most lovely couple who are staying at PALM BAY Resort on Long Island.

Zau and Marco are from Germany and I got a last minute call from Marco to see if I could take them out for the day to somewhere special so that he coukd propose to his beautiful girlfriend.

"I know just the place" I said to him as we left and, well, the day was just perfect - flat calm glassy water, beautiful locations for viewing coral and lookouts, great food and a very lovely couple to enjoy the day with.

It was a very special day and I was so happy to be a part of it, as was Teegan from the resort.

We all wish Zau and Marco a very happy life together and hope that these memories of their stay in our wonderful Whitsundays remain with them always.❤️💕

Making the most of the gorgeous weather yesterday, my guests were a family of 5 from Germany who are traveling down the Queensland coast.

We had a magic day with some snorkelling, beach time on Langford Island and plenty of whales spotting, although out a long way.

Such a beautiful day today, first of its kind for a little while.

My guests Allison and Kate hail from Winnipeg Canada and have been enjoying a bit of Queensland hospitality.

We went for a snorkel plus some time ashore at Whitehaven Beach (watched some parachutes land at Whitehaven) and even had a Humpback put on a show from a distance on the way back.

Yesterday was most enjoyable with this lovely family from Melbourne. It was the first day in a while where the winds were not blowing a gale and so we headed off for snorkelling and exploring. Lots of whales sighted way off in the distance on the way out and on the return in the evening - no photos sorry.

The boys got to swim with a turtle at Windy bay and the kids had a great time in the water at Whitehaven Beach while Mum and Dad enjoyed a glass of bubbles ashore (it was Jacques birthday).

Thanks so much to Alit, Jacques, Sebastian and Ingrid for your most enjoyable company and we wish you safe travels on your big Queensland adventure 🥰

Today's trip was very memorable as we not only saw our first whale of the season but I had a group of 3 most enjoyable guests from Italy who are traveling down the coast in a camper van.

They drove straight through from Townsville early this morning so that we could do their tour today, it being much nicer conditions than it is going to be tomorrow.

Sorry, the whale picture didn't come out so well but if you zoom in, you can definitely see it (we have to stay 300 metres away these days which makes it a bit more difficult).

Anyway, it's definitely Humpback whale season in the Whitsundays 🤩

Yesterday was one of the calmest that we have had for a while and I had 2 couples staying at PALM BAY Resort who wanted a quick visit to Whitehaven Beach. The trip across was very smooth and as we had made up a lot of time, I also have them the chance to visit the Hill Inlet.

I am hoping that today's tour also gives my guests some nice conditions!
