EUREKA is representing The Whitsundays in the 75th Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race!! There is the opportunity for a maximum of 8 lucky people to jump onboard and join in on this experience.

The boat owner Malcom Robertson, will be joined by his uncle "Sir Robbo" who has competed in this race 31 times, winning 4 of them. One of the pictures below is a famous shot from one of "Sir Robbos" races. This picture made it around the world ;)

The Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race is considered by the yachting industry as one of Australia’s flagship ocean yacht races.

There will also be the opportunity to acquire your International Crew Certificate or for those who would like to further their experience in coastal skippering or mile building. This training will also include night navigation, chart work, electronic navigation aids and helming duties.

This trip will be broken up into 3 legs, you can join all 3 or pick and choose which legs you'd like to be a part of.

1 – Airlie to Brisbane
Depart Airlie beach - 25th March – 12pm
Arrive Brisbane - 30th March
$2,220 per person
Includes: All meals, linen, Tea, Coffee and bottled water, Tuition/training aids, IYT log book, Inflatable life jackets and Safety harness, submission of certificate.

2 – Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race
Race will start - 7th April – 12pm
Arrive Gladstone - 9th April - time is TBA and is subject to prevailing weather conditions.
$2,640 per person
Includes: All meals, linen, Tea, Coffee and bottled water, Inflatable life jackets, Safety harness and Personal Location Beacon for duration of race.

3 – Gladstone – Airlie Beach
Depart Gladstone - 10th April
Arrive Airlie Beach – 14th April
$2,220 per person
Includes: All meals, linen, Tea, Coffee and bottled water, Tuition/training aids, IYT log book, Inflatable life jackets and Safety harness, submission of certificate.
*This last leg will be taken at a much more casual pace with the opportunity to spend some time exploring different islands on your journey back to Airlie Beach.

Whitsundays Sailing Adventures provides Marketing, Reservations and Check-in services to a fleet of 10 Quality Owner Operated Charter Vessels, operating live-aboard tours in the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park, Whitsundays.

We are seeking the services of a self-motivated, professional, well-presented individual with experience in Reservations & Sales. Experience in the Tourism Industry is preferable but not essential.

This Casual Position is based in Airlie Beach and involves daytime shifts, with the occasional public holiday and weekend, as a member of the Reservations Team.

Customer service skills, accurate record keeping, and Microsoft Office computer literacy are prerequisites.

Applications in writing via email, accompanied by details of employment history and referees will be considered for immediate start.
