This is a blast from the past. Years ago when I was a Pharmact student (that's a lot of years ago!), I earned extra money by doing television ads.
One of those was for McVities biscuits, an English brand that filmed wheat fields in Australia to promote their chocolate dipped wheaten biscuits. For three days, I ran through wheat fields, sailed on a skiff and ate choc covered bikkies. Every shot seemed to have 20 takes. To the point where I nearly threw up at the thought of tasting yet another one.
For years, even the idea of a Chocolate Wheaten (Aussie equivalent) made my stomach turn.

Imagine my surprise when I found McVities Digestives in Aldi today.
Should I dare to buy a packet?

What a fabulous day. Out early, stunning fast boat trip, hiked a volcano for spectacular views, saw five, yes 5, Komodo dragons, had lunch with a pig, swam with multicoloured fish and turtles and beautiful corals, collapsed into bed!

I'm sending out emails today to new guests who have enquired about our tours.
Antarctica, Patagonia, Galapagos, Cusco Machu Picchu. Our new tour to Africa to be part of the great migration will run in Jult 2027. So many beautiful wild places to see.
