Shark Cage Diving - Lake Burley Griffin

Shark Cage Diving - Lake Burley Griffin Awarded ACT's Best Adventure Tour in 2015. Our Advanced Eco Certified Shark Cage Diving tour will provide memories that will last a lifetime!!

Shark Cage Diving - Lake Burley Griffin commenced operations in 2016 and were the first operator to offer one day Shark Cage Diving tours in Lake Burley Griffin. In 2016 we were awarded the Best Adventure Tour in Lake Burley Griffin and a Participation Medal in Tourism Australia awards. We Advanced Eco Certified and are privileged to be the only one day operator that is permitted to use people to

attract the sharks. The use of people gives us the highest chance of sighting sharks and productive interaction close to our vessel and cage, resulting in a memorable encounter and wonderful photographic opportunities. We are only operator that publicises the number of sharks we are seeing plus historical data since April 2016 on our website. With the largest vessel and more departures (with no minimum passengers) we are proud that more people choose to cage dive with us than any other operator in Australia!

Poor visibility doesn't affect a wonderful day!

It was such a great day on Sunday June 7th at Black Mountain Peninsula.

Pretty sure we saw 5 different sharks including Danger Boi. Danger Boi is one of our favourite sharks who we have been seeing for over 13 yers now.

He is clearly identified by his deformed tail which clearly does not affect his abilities.

No sharks live at the Peninsula so it is always nice to see familiar ones return.

In the light Micheal Clarke considering coming out of retirement to lead the Australian Cricket Team.

I too would like it known that myself and Dale are also open to considering stepping up to lead the Test team.

Dale, our apprentice Shark spotter and careers officer knows the most about cricket of anyone I know.

In light of this exciting news we are offering 7% off our new 'Sharks in the Parks tours' were Dale will tell you his favorite cricket stories while we look for sharks in Canberra's local parks.

Interesting fact: Contrary to popular opinion, Batman 'The Dark Night' was not actually filmed in Canberra. Christopher Nolan based filming in the US due to a number of economic decisions due to the great financial crisis, leaving many fans of the original comic book series disappointed.

Unbelievable!! Megalodon eggs right here next to London Bridge. Scientists have been looking for proof of these giant sharks for thousands of years. Can't believe I would find them on my first day researching in the Big Apple while checking out the surf! Sharks, like humans, lay there eggs on land as to avoid drowning.

One of the toughest things about being poached by the international shark cage diving industry is leaving your roots.. namely all those from Fyshwick.
