Want to become a 20m diver?
I’m running a 2 day PADI Advanced Freediver Course on the Sunshine Coast dates 18 & 19 July, day 1 in Coolum.
Enroll today and start your e-learning immediately. Min Age 15 and must be level 1 certified.
Certification Requirements:
Swimming Pool
* Static apnea (breath hold):
* 2 min 30 sec (2:00 if under 18)
* Dynamic apnea (distance):
* 50 m (40 m if under 18)
Open water
* Constant weight dive (depth):
* 20 - 24 metres (15 m if under 18)
- Rescue: Execute a buddy rescue from 10 meters deep.
These are minimum standards for certification—most people exceed them by the end.

You’ll focus on:
* Advanced breath‑hold techniques
* Advanced Equalization (e.g Frenzel)
* Advanced CO₂ tolerance
* Buddy and rescue procedures
* Technique efficiency and
* ⁠improved awareness and relaxation

Day 1 – Theory & Pool
✅ Learn safe spearfishing techniques including speargun handling
✅ Understand Marine environments, Fish id and regulations
✅ Breath-hold fundamentals
✅ Pool training for breath-hold, dive technique & rescues
✅ Learn and practice rescue techniques.

Day 2 – Local Reef Diving
✅ Practice breath-hold skin diving in a safe environment.
✅ Master your rescue techniques
✅ Target practice using underwater floating targets.
✅ Guided spearfishing at a beautiful local reef
✅ Experienced instructors by your side

✅ All gear, wetsuits, and spearguns provided
