Looking where to stay for an Acadia National Park trip?
Bar Harbor, ME
Balance Rock Inn
Historic Gilded Age small property only 1 block to town. It is so quiet on the ocean you forget you are in town. Splurge for an ocean view with balcony, you won’t regret it. Make sure to book dinner at their Veranda restaurant for an evening.

Northeast Harbor, ME
Asticou Inn
For a much quieter environment away from the crowds in Bar Harbor this recently reopened fully renovated 5 ⭐️ property has incredible harbor views. Ocean view rooms or quaint multi bedroom cottages if you are traveling with friends or kids. The pool has full F&B service so you never have to leave.
The restaurant was outstanding so make the trip for a meal even if you do not stay here. It takes less than 30 minutes to drive here from Bar Harbor through the park. Only a 5 minute drive to the park entrance.
