The Ashes family are gearing up for another big trip to Vanuatu – they need your help! Debbi, Courtney & families are off to Port Vila, Vanuatu on 28th May 2026.

We would like to call out to our giving local Lane Cove community for donations. The family have paid for excess luggage with the airline and need your help!

The Ashes family are seeking for the local schools, villages, children’s hospital & women’s shelter:
- Technology: laptop computers, phones or smart tablets (must be in good, working condition)
- Clothing: New clothes & shoes for both adults and children of all ages
- Toys: New soft toys, educational toys, unused children’s games and toys with no batteries
- Sporting: New soccer boots, soccer balls with pumps, frisbees
- Personal hygiene: New toothbrushes, toothpaste, antiseptic creams – anything that you would have on hand in your household – most don’t have any of these items

In conjunction with physical donation items, we have an active Go Fund Me fundraiser where all funds raised here are used to purchase local supermarket vouchers at the Bon Mache. In 2025 they were able to purchase 25 x $100 AUD (equivalent) vouchers. The response from the locals was extremely overwhelming and these vouchers were distributed through many villages in Port Vila.

Given the current airspace closure in the Middle East, we kindly ask you for your patience. We have received numerous requests for assistance for travellers who have booked direct with an airline or online and cannot contact these booking platforms or agents.

Our agency's priority is to service & support clients who have booked directly with our agency, and ensure they are looked after. In these situations our clients have a dedicated 24/7 contact and our team have been working very hard to ensure any disruption to our client's trips are kept to a minimum.

Unfortunately we cannot access or assist with bookings made through other agencies or companies. We do appreciate your understanding.

BULA! Debbi, Courtney (& Ella!) along with the extended family enjoyed 2 weeks in Fiji - island hopping & celebrating two milestone birthdays. 7 nights on Vomo followed by 7 nights on Castaway, both very different resorts but both exceptional holiday destinations 🏝️☀️

Debbi has recently returned from the most memorable trip in Africa - her 3rd trip to Africa & a trip that was 3 years in the making!

She saw the BIG 5 on Day 1, experienced feeding giraffes breakfast & afternoon tea and also visited a Rhino conservatory.

Africa is an empire where the boundaries between reality & dreams blur, and every sunrise & sunset brings the promise of a new adventure, a new story waiting to unfold. Amidst Africa wilderness you find yourself truly alive – once you’ve been, you will always want to go back...

It will be an evening of fundraising, fashion & friends, all inspired by circular fashion & of course to raise much needed funds for the Cancer Council.
