Hue is underrated in my opinion! And that’s why I love including it on my Northern Vietnam highlights trip! It’s full of history and elegance and amazing cuisine too. Plus because it does fly under the radar a little. It’s not as touristy as other places in Vietnam.

This is the gorgeous, heritage stay on our Northern and Central Vietnam highlights trip (next on in April) and it’s right next to the Imperial City so it kind of feels like you’re staying in amongst the walled old city - plus it’s the perfect point for walking and exploring because everything is on your doorstep!

The Pekoe Trail in Sri Lanka has been selected by Intrepid travel on their top ten not hot list in 2027!! And Pip & Co Travel | Penny Wilson is going there next year! 😊

It’s a long distance walk through the hills and tea country of central Sri Lanka and on our trip next year we will be walking two sections of this trail! Plus doing some incredible other things through our trip including wildlife safaris, meeting local women and learning how to cook some Sri Lankan dishes, trying tea and tea plucking in a tea plantation, visiting a Tamil village, spending time on the coast, taking a scenic train trip, having time for some yoga sessions and enjoying the beautiful, premium accommodation!

I’ll be running through all the highlights of this trip, and answering your questions LIVE on Facebook this SUNDAY at 5.30pm AEST.

🇱🇰🥾 Curious about walking Sri Lanka’s Pekoe Trail? Join me LIVE this Sunday!

I’m hosting a Facebook Live to introduce my NEW Sri Lanka: Tea Country & the Pekoe Trail journey for June 2027.

This is a very different way to experience Sri Lanka, a slower, more immersive and with some time spent exploring the spectacular hill country on foot.

We’ll hike two beautiful sections of the Pekoe Trail, wander through tea plantations and rural villages, meet local people, experience Sri Lanka’s famous tea country, head out on safari in Udawalawe and finish with some well-earned downtime on the coast at Ranna.

During the Live, I’ll chat about:
