I had the pleasure of guiding a few canmore locals who took their kids camping in O’Hara for many years. As a way to encourage the kids to hike, they told them gummy bears only grow on trees in the alpine😂.

Well that was a first! I guided this amazingly group of Canmore mountain women on the entire alpine circuit in Lake O’Hara. We even had time to eat a lot of chocolate and a charcuterie board and sneak in a swim. That is mountain living!
