Let’s talk about sargassum…

I heard so many people today at the pool complaining about the beach conditions … and that is why you need to spend time researching a destination before hitting book - or even better, use a knowledgeable travel advisor.

If you are travelling almost anywhere in the Caribbean between May and November, there is a high likelihood that the beach conditions will be less than optimal. There are GREAT off season prices, but they come with risks.

First picture here taken last week at our resort in Playa del Carmen, second this morning at our resort in the Hotel Zone in Cancun.

The week before last Playa del Carmen was worse than this, and Cancun was almost clear.
