One of my Beaches Negril families just got home… and they’re already talking about going back. 🌴

Not because of one big “perfect” moment.
But because of all the little ones.

The endless shallow turquoise water.
Morning views from the balcony before another barefoot day ahead.
Mini golf before dinner
Fruity mocktails from the beach bar that quickly became a daily tradition for their son. 😊🍹

The kind of vacation where nobody is rushing… nobody is glued to screens… and somehow the simplest moments become the ones your family remembers forever.

Honestly?

With two different client families currently enjoying two different Beaches Resorts this past week… I thought this would be a fun comparison to share...
Because while both are incredible family resorts, they actually feel very different once you’re there.

🏖️ The Beach
🇯🇲 Beaches Negril has that relaxed Seven Mile Beach vibe with soft sand and long beach walks.

🇹🇨 Beaches Turks & Caicos is all about those famous turquoise waters and postcard-perfect views.

🛏️ The Rooms
🇯🇲 Beaches Negril feels a little more intimate and laid-back overall.

🇹🇨 Beaches Turks & Caicos offers more variety in accommodations — including some incredible oceanview suites and the newer Treasure Beach Village experience.

🍽️ The Restaurants
🇯🇲 Negril shines with its toes-in-the-sand Caribbean feel.

🇹🇨 Turks & Caicos offers more dining variety overall — including favourites like the teppanyaki restaurant families always seem to love.

🏊 The Pool
🇯🇲 Negril’s pools feel more relaxed and easygoing.

🇹🇨 Turks & Caicos has a larger resort feel with more activity and energy throughout the day.

Honestly… can you really go wrong with either?

It really comes down to the kind of family vacation your family is looking for.

Not going to lie… this one goes way back for me 🤍

My mom got to snuggle a koala in the 80’s and I’ve wanted my turn ever since (even if now it’s a little less “snuggly” photo op😅)

It’s moments like this that remind me…
the best trips aren’t just about where you go, but how it all comes together.

🪚 80 chainsaw kits
🧼 816 hygiene kits
🚰 4 community water filtration systems, each one capable of providing clean water for up to 10,000 people a day

Their team of disaster specialists are actively distributing these supplies in communities where the need is great and connecting with local churches to coordinate relief efforts.

This morning, Samaritan’s Purse deployed an Emergency Field Hospital to Jamaica—bringing critical medical care and hope to families devastated by Hurricane Melissa, the strongest storm ever to strike the island.

Their 767 cargo plane carried the 30-plus-bed facility, which includes a surgical operating room, intensive care unit (ICU), emergency room (ER), obstetric (OB) ward for maternal and neonatal care, laboratory, pharmacy, and blood bank.

Their doctors and nurses (who are part of the 70+ member team currently in Jamaica) are already unloading the supplies from this flight to begin building out the tent facility so they can start serving patients as soon as possible. This hospital will replace one that was destroyed in the storm—meeting urgent needs in a community desperate for care.

Please continue to pray for the people of Jamaica and for the teams and other organizations as they bring help and healing in Jesus’ Name.
