I’ve come to a realization…

I don’t know how to relax.
I don’t enjoy downtime.

I’ve been home for two weeks and already I’m thinking… “okay, what’s next?”

Elena and I have our Prosecco Hills tour coming up in September… but after that?

Nothing planned.

So naturally… I fixed that.

If so, you might wanna try and spend them today…

Aeroplan points are being devalued for bookings made on or after June 1, 2026.
This update impacts the flight reward chart, with many long-haul premium cabin redemptions, particularly between North America and Europe/Asia, costing more points.

So if you were saving the points for a rainy day, or waiting to book, you might want to look at their website today, May 31, and spend what you are able to prior to Monday, June 1.

If you said to me yesterday..."I bet you $100 that Sunwing puts on a second flight to Cancun each week next winter" I would have laughed and taken the bet.

And you would be $100 richer.

Sunwing Vacations has added a SECOND weekly non-stop Thunder Bay to Cancun flight this winter season ... Sundays... in addition to their existing Monday departures.

Spending the day in Lisbon prior to our cruise was the perfect warm up. We saw a LOT!

We always kick off our exploration with a couple of travellers from the corner store… Then we see where the day takes us! This day took us very far! 😂
The weather was grey, but perfect for touring and doing lots and LOTS of steps.

We started with a meal at a Portuguese diner in a residential area where not one person spoke English.
The next 24 hours unfolded with incredible food, churches, green wine, Pasteis de nata, smiling faces, dollar beers, hop on hop off bus, Old Town, colourful streets, the list goes on and on!

Obrigado, Lisbon, Portugal,…you can bet will be back!

I could go on and on about the food and drink offerings on this ship.
I think the best indicator of culinary success is when I stepped on the scale this morning.Take in to account we walked about 15,000 steps each day… it did not offset our consumption for the week!
