How great to have day after day of beautiful sights, lessons in regional history, great food and great company. We disembarked and headed to the lovely town of Heidelberg, toured the castle, enjoyed a lunch of sausage, sauerkraut and potatoes, local wine and beer.
The water levels on the Rhine are too low in places so we ended our day at the Frankfurt Hilton. A gorgeous hotel in the city centre. Tomorrow we will get back on the river boat.
