There’s no right way or wrong way to do Ireland, though, and you’ll never regret wherever you choose to go (unless you choose to spend the ENTIRE trip just in Dublin – come on, man, there’s so much more to see!)

This August marked one year since I started on my travel agent journey with TheTravelAgentNextDoor 🥰

Younger me planning haphazard trip outlines in Word and scouring the Internet on Incognito Mode (which I absolutely still do) would never believe me if I told her that she could actually get paid to do this!

It’s been a year of learning, meeting new people (like Cindy Worsley - The Travel Agent Next Door, the best mentor ever), trying to be funny and engaging online, and getting to plan some SERIOUSLY cool trips!

A huge thanks to TTAND for helping me kickstart my journey; I truly don’t know how I could’ve gotten this started or kept things going without the entire team’s support and positivity (and I don’t plan to find out!)

And, of course, a thank you to you, my friends, family, and other followers-who-are-soon-to-be-friends. I don’t need to have millions of followers and be planning several trips a week (although…wouldn’t hurt); the support and love you have all shown me this past year has been incredible, and I’m so grateful to you all.

Whether it’s coming to me for help with trip planning, sharing or liking my posts, or just regularly asking how things are going in the travel world, it means so much to me to know I have so many people who care about me and this journey.

Man, I’ve been on some crazy camping weekends, but this one?
This one was….in-TENTS! 😂🏕️

In my experience, camping is an activity that is very black and white: some people LOVE it, others HATE it; there’s no in-between.

I’ve got my parents to thank for my love of camping, as we’ve been camping every summer since I was a little kid throughout numerous Ontario Parks.

Whether it’s sleeping in a cozy sleeping bag, the smell of a campfire, or spending the day playing games and reading on the beach or at your site, there’s something about camping that makes it so you just can’t help but relax.

On this year’s camping trip to Sturgeon Bay Provincial Park, Steve and I had a blast, even after getting rained out after our first night 🥲

I’m working on hitting as many Ontario Parks as I can throughout my camping years – which ones have you explored? Any tips or fun memories for your fellow campers?

When I first started my travel agent journey almost a year ago, I had NO idea what I was doing. And honestly, can I say I do now?

Thankfully, YES! And that’s in HUGE part thanks to my mentor who has guided me through this experience as a travel agent.

- I’d have to say Adventure Travel, Solo Travel, Safaris

- Hmm, I think Galapagos, India, and Antarctica

What’s your favourite trip you’ve ever been on?
- This is impossible to answer but a few faves include: Egypt, Tanzania safari, Jordan (I went twice in 2 years and still amazed me second time around!), Amalfi Coast solo trip, and Newfoundland and Wild Labrador with Adventure Canada (my gosh, Canada is beautiful!!)
