• Choose accommodations with air-conditioning or screened windows
• Keep balcony doors and windows closed at night

🎉 Havana celebrates its 506th birthday today! 🇨🇺✨

One of the city’s most beautiful traditions is the annual walk around the La Ceiba tree at Plaza de Armas, where locals make wishes and welcome good energy for the year ahead. This centuries-old ritual is still alive today — filled with the same warmth and spirit as when it first began. 🌳💫

Last night, Havana was honored with a special birthday concert, bringing music, dance, and that unmistakable Havana atmosphere that makes this city truly magical.

On 16 November at 6:00 am, the iconic Marabana – Havana Marathon begins, filling the streets with runners, music, and pure Cuban energy. 🏃‍♀️🎶🇨🇺

Today we passed by the registration area and the atmosphere was incredible — athletes from every corner of the world, lining up with big smiles and excitement. Havana knows how to turn a marathon into a fiesta!

The storm affected only the eastern region of the country, while Cuba’s main tourist destinations — Havana, Varadero, Viñales, Trinidad, Cayo Coco, Cayo Santa María, and more — continue to welcome visitors safely and comfortably.
