From the moment I arrived to Aerodium Sigulda, there was a mix of excitement and nervousness. After a detailed safety briefing, things started to feel much more reassuring. The instructors explained everything clearly - rise your arms like a huge bear, hold legs in the width of shoulder. Remember 3 most important finger signs he would show you during the flight to have a smooth flight: for legs, chin up and relax., Then he handled the flight suit, earplugs and goggles, and suddenly the adventure felt very real.
Stepping into the vertical wind tunnel for the first time was unforgettable. At first, I was focused on remembering all the instructions, but the instructor was right beside me, guiding every movement and helping me find the correct body position. Within moments, I was floating effortlessly on the powerful stream of air.
And then came the highlight — soaring high up in the tunnel. For a few seconds, it felt like flying for real. The rush of adrenaline, the incredible sensation of weightlessness and the breathtaking view from above made it impossible not to smile. Thanks to the instructor's support and precise adjustments, even a complete beginner like me could enjoy the experience from the very first flight.
