Our Spain & Portugal group visited two Deaf-owned businesses:

ZIRYAB Barcelona • Tapas • Sh**ha • Vino Taverna Gastronòmica, a Deaf-owned restaurant

Handmade jewelry in the afternoon, dinner at Ziryab in the evening: a full day in Barcelona’s old town. What could be better than that?

Supporting Deaf-owned businesses in Morocco! 🇲🇦

Our group stopped by a Deaf woman-owned leather shop to browse handcrafted bags, pouches, and more and enjoyed traditional Moroccan mint tea while we shopped.

Supporting Deaf entrepreneurs is part of every Hands On Travel journey!

Our U.S. National Parks group just wrapped a road trip from Salt Lake City to Phoenix, covering all five of Utah’s “Mighty 5” plus the Grand Canyon:

Arches: Landscape Arch, Balanced Rock, and sunset at the Windows
Canyonlands: Mesa Arch and Grand View Point
Capitol Reef: Grand Wash, petroglyphs, and pie at the Gifford House
Bryce Canyon: the Rim Trail and the Navajo Loop
Zion: Kolob Canyon, the Narrows, and Emerald Pools
Grand Canyon: sunset at Cape Royal and sunrise at Point Imperial

Plus side trips to Goblin Valley, Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, Monument Valley, Sedona, and Montezuma Castle.

First full day in Marrakech! 🇲🇦

Our Morocco 2026 tour group started with Bahia Palace and El Badii Palace, then spent the afternoon at Jardin Majorelle, the cobalt-blue garden once owned by Yves Saint Laurent, the famous clothing designer!

Next stop: Casablanca’s Hassan II Mosque, then on to Rabat. So many more places to see for the next two weeks!

Spain & Portugal tour: the group got to visit Casa Bar Pepe El Mudo, a Deaf-owned spot near Sevilla that has been around since 1968! That’s almost 60 years!! Supporting Deaf-owned businesses along the way, on our tours!

On our Switzerland tour, we make a point of stopping at Deaf-owned businesses along the way. Our group sat down to a full spread of fresh, seasonal dishes before continuing on. So delicious!

Day 1 of our Switzerland tour: Rhine Falls

We’ve officially started a new tour at one of our most popular destinations: Switzerland! The group started the trip at Rhine Falls, the largest waterfall in Europe by volume. Located near Schaffhausen, the falls stretch about 150 meters wide, with the Rhine rushing over the rocks just steps from the viewing platforms. Our group got to enjoy a boat ride to see the falls close up! 🚤
