So yesterday a kingfisher appeared at the pond, but this morning was wild and windy so didn't see the Kingfisher around in the 10 mins i waited, but managed to see this.😀

Ian has been feeding the fish too much all Summer i think, still it helped get some cracking images now he's got time to actually sit in the hide, rather than guide eveyone from outside the hide. 😀

Well it did it again this morning, its eyes too big for it's belly.
Ian Stott captured it with the phone, not to worry it again caught a fish it could get away with.
Its checking out the hide, I might sit in that one tomorrow.😀

Had you been in the walkway hide this morning, you would have nearly had an osprey and huge fish in the hide with you, you can see the osprey checking it out, taken with the phone though the one way netting, so I didnt disturb it, it dropped the fish back in the water as it was too heavy, came back and got a smaller one to take away.

While the osprey hides are closed i popped up to see Ian this morning who was sitting in the hide trying out a new piece of camera equipment.
Osprey comes round so we both dive in the hide and I got the old samsung oot my pocket.
First dive of the second Osprey, I then tried slow motion when I found were it was on the phone.
Had we been in the walkway hide we would have had the osprey 4ft away as it dragged a huge trout onto the bank.

While the osprey season is over and the hides are closed, I still find myself at the pond, trying to get stuff done, sitting with a coffee watching the birds dive.. is not such a bad thing.😀
