We've opened The Heron Pantry on site, a little shop stocked with the essentials you actually need when you're staying at your lodge.

Fresh milk and bread delivered regularly. Plus the bits you always forget... tea, coffee, toiletries, that sort of thing.

Nothing fancy. Just what you need, when you need it, without leaving the park.

We’re delighted to share some very special news from the Boating Lake — the swans have welcomed a beautiful new family of cygnets!

Guests staying with us this summer are in for a real treat, with seven adorable cygnets gliding around the lake. In one of our photos, a tiny cygnet can even be seen riding proudly on Mum’s back! We’ll be sharing plenty more photos over the coming weeks, and for anyone who would like a closer encounter, we always have duck food available to help encourage our feathered visitors to come and say hello.

We are loving welcoming guests to Waterside Retreat, and the ducks are very happy as well. Our resident swans have started building their nest on the boating lake, although well away from the lodges so they won't be disturbed,.......spring is in the air! Quick update on availability for the next couple of months:

May: Friday 1st to Monday 4th May (early May bank holiday weekend), Friday 15th to Monday 25th and Friday 29th May to 5th June.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome and can relax on the furniture and beds (we just ask you bring your own throws). The decking can be enclosed, though there is a small gap so it’s not suitable for small dogs with Houdini tendencies!
