Autumn's creeping in at Heron Lakes.

From up here, you can see the trees starting to turn, orange bleeding through the green around the water. It's that in-between moment we get every year, right before the park shifts into the winter season.

Wildlife of the Week 🦢

This beauty's been gliding around the Lake all morning. Up close, you notice the detail - something about the way swans move through the water makes everything feel peaceful.

We've got six lakes here, and they've become home to more wildlife than we ever expected. Swans, herons, ducks - they all seem to know this is a peaceful spot.

Sunday Snapshot: Inside the New Pathfinder...

We spent this morning wandering through the new Pathfinder lodge, and honestly? The photos don't quite do it justice.

Modern, but not in that cold, show-home way. Clean lines. Thoughtful lighting that actually works. Open-plan living that feels spacious without being echoey. The kitchen's the kind you'd want to cook in.

The master suite caught us off guard - there's a level of finish here that you don't always see. Attention to detail in the joinery, the fixtures, the way the whole thing flows from room to room.
