I am currently sailing around the Med on my Gold reward trip with my friends and colleagues.

We are sailing on the gorgeous Crystal Serenity and what a beauty she is.

We embarked in Venice after a whirlwind overnight stay.

Yesterday we visited Trieste which was very wet and windy but the sun eventually came out for us.

It’s wonderful to experience a new ship for me and share my photos and feedback with you over the next week

What I’ve been planning for clients lately ✈️

There’s been a real mixture of holidays crossing my desk recently, which is one of the things I love about this job.

I’ve been helping clients with everything from cruises and Greek escapes to Canada adventures and family trips to Orlando and Las Vegas.

Some are travelling fairly soon, while others are already getting those bigger 2027 holidays in the diary.

And that’s the lovely thing about what I do – one minute I can be looking at cruise itineraries, the next I’m working out the best way to put together a Canadian adventure or finding the right hotel for a family holiday.

No two days are ever quite the same!

Well… that’s another month gone already!

It’s been a lovely month, with lots of exciting enquiries and holidays booked. From cruises and Canada to Greece, family adventures and special celebrations, it’s been great helping so many people plan their next getaway.

A huge thank you to everyone who’s booked with me, recommended me to family and friends, or simply taken the time to like, comment and share my posts. It really does mean a lot to me and my little business.

Now I’m looking forward to seeing what next month brings!

What’s the best holiday you’ve ever been on? 🌍✈️

Mine would have to be Thailand.

It had everything I love in a holiday – the buzz of Bangkok, an unforgettable stay at Elephant Hills, and then finishing in Koh Samui with beautiful beaches, snorkelling and even a trip to Pig Island.

It’s one of those holidays I’ll always look back on with a smile.

The booking that’s made me smile this week

One of the nicest parts of my job is seeing someone’s holiday start to feel real.

This week, it’s been a family holiday that’s really made me smile.

We’ve found the right destination, the right hotel, and now the countdown can begin.

I can already imagine the excitement as they start planning what they’ll pack, telling the children where they’re going, and looking forward to making those special memories together.

That’s the bit I love.

It’s never just about making a booking. It’s about helping people create something they’ll be talking about for years afterwards.

I can’t wait to hear all about it when they get home.

“I can’t believe we waited so long to try one!”

It’s something I hear time and time again.

I think a lot of people have an idea of what cruising is like before they go, and then they’re pleasantly surprised.

They love waking up somewhere different, only unpacking once, and having so much choice when it comes to food, entertainment and things to do.

For many, one cruise is all it takes.

Before long they’re asking me where they should sail to next!

Why Canada is worth doing properly

Canada is one of those holidays that I don’t think you should rush.

When people first start planning, it’s easy to try and squeeze in as much as possible. But for me, the magic of Canada is taking the time to really enjoy each place.

Whether it’s spending an extra day in the Rockies, taking in the views around Lake Louise, or giving yourself time to explore somewhere like Vancouver, those extra days are often the ones people remember most.

It’s not about ticking places off a list.

It’s about enjoying the journey and making the most of everything Canada has to offer.

That’s why I love helping clients plan tailor-made itineraries. We can build a holiday that gives you time to experience it, rather than just passing through.

If Canada is on your wish list, I’d definitely say it’s a destination that’s worth doing properly.

Well what a busy week it’s been and a wonderful one as I have spent it with my wonderful customer, family and friends on the Disney Dream

We travelled from Southampton for 4 nights, had 2 days at sea and visited the lovely town of La Coruna in Spain.

Well where do I begin!

The ship was stunning, the staff could not do enough for you and everyone always had a smile. The food was excellent and the entertainment was so good one day I saw the same show twice!

The experience was truly magical for both children and grown ups alike.

We were a mixed bunch with families with young children, single parents on their own with youngsters and some of us travelling as adults on our own.

There are adult only areas to enjoy a drink, take in some live music or just chill in a quiet corner.

For the children the activities are endless from arts and crafts, napkin folding classes to meet and greets with your favourite Disney characters!

Everyone had the time of their lives and already planning for 2028!!

What’s one destination that’s still on your travel bucket list?

Maybe it’s somewhere you’ve dreamed about for years, somewhere you’ve seen on TV, or somewhere that’s recently caught your eye.

For me, I’d love to visit Kefalonia. Ever since watching Race Across the World, it’s moved right up my list. The scenery looked incredible, and the colour of the water was just beautiful.

I’d love to hear your answers. You never know… you might even give someone else some inspiration!

One cruise myth I hear all the time

“I think I’d get bored.”

It’s probably one of the most common things people say to me when they’re thinking about a cruise for the first time.

But it’s usually the opposite.

One day you might be exploring a new destination, the next you’re relaxing by the pool, enjoying a show, trying a new restaurant or simply sitting on deck watching the world go by.

You can be as busy or as laid-back as you want.

That’s one of the reasons I enjoy cruising so much. There’s no right or wrong way to do it.

If you want to pack every day with activities, you can.

If you’d rather spend the afternoon with a good book and a sea view, that’s perfect too.

I think that’s why so many first-time cruisers end up booking another one.
