Loughborough University, commissioned by Argyll & Bute Council, is undertaking some research into what is acceptable as a standard of living in 2026 for rural Scotland, updating previous research completed in 2012.

The in-person focus groups will be held at An Roth Community Enterprise Centre, Craignure, on Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th June – there are 3 different categories:

Pensioners: Wed 3rd 10am-1pm
Working age, no dependents: Wed 3rd 6.30pm-9.30pm
Parents: Thursday 4th 6.30pm-9.30pm
